By now you should be aware that the borders to Queensland have now been opened.
This means more than likely we will be seeing cases of covid popping up in our community.
We will continue to service those of you who are not vaccinated, but we will be following the Qld health guidelines and rules that state you should not come into the practice if you are not feeling well or have cold and flu like symptoms. If you have been in close proximity to someone that is a known case or are waiting on test results for covid, we would also ask that you defer your appointment until such time that you are a definite negative.
Hand hygiene is still the most important part of keeping this virus at a minimum and we ask that everyone uses the hand sanitiser provided in the practice upon arrival and check in with our Qld covid app. (those who don’t have a phone or cannot access the app, our staff can do it for you).
We would also prefer to keep the number of people in the waiting area to a minimum. If you can attend the appointment alone, this would be preferrable. If you need to bring children along, we ask you keep them well supervised.
